Israelis and Palestinians committed together to the two-state solution… They do exist!
Come and meet them on Tuesday, May 30th, 8:30 p.m. at the Cercle Bernard Lazare*

JCall and La Paix Maintenant invite you to meet a delegation of Israeli and Palestinian NGOs coming for the first time to Paris in such a large number. These NGOs are part of the Geneva Agreement Coalition, bringing together thirty NGOs working in order to end the occupation and the conflict on the basis of the Two-State Solution.

The delegation consists of 17 people, 8 Israelis and 9 Palestinians, all leaders or members of the Israeli and Palestinian coalitions, and of a dozen NGOs belonging to these coalitions.
On the Palestinian side, we note the presence of two former ministers, in charge of water and prisoners.
Israeli delegates include the leaders of Shalom Akhshav, JStreet, and Ir Amim, to name a few NGOs.

They come to inform us of the situation in the occupied territories, with the ongoing projects led by the Israeli government that lead to their de facto annexation.

They come to warn us about the consequences on the occupation of the draft laws planned by the coalition in power in Israel as part of the legal reform which, if they are adopted, will compromise the prospect of a solution to the conflict.

Last but not least, they come to search for a political support to their common cause in order to save the Two-State Solution.

In the current context, it is more important than ever to listen to those Israeli and Palestinian “peace activists” whose joint action is in itself a hope that a solution to the conflict is still possible.

There is no need to make a reservation, but a courtesy e-mail is welcome.
